Immunizations
State health regulations require that prior to students entering the 8th grade, they must receive the Tdap vaccine. Tdap is a combination vaccination to prevent tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough). This vaccine replaced the tetanus diphtheria booster for this age group due to the recent epidemics of whooping cough.
