Plato Little League is made up of volunteer parents who spend June and the first part of July teaching kids varying levels of baseball and/or softball fundamentals. Parents and other volunteers are assigned players for teams in the following levels: tee ball, coach pitch, and kid pitch. Individual students pay fees to participate, with a discount given for multiple students from a single familiy. The fees vary by year. See the current form below for the fee requirement for the upcoming season. The fee includes the team shirt and hat for each player. At the last game of the season, players are awarded participation medals.
Little League participation forms are sent home with each student in elementary and junior high at the end of the school year. If you did not receive a form or have misplaced it, you may download it here. Please be sure to download, print, complete, and turn in the form by the specified due date if you want your child to participate. High school summer baseball and softball leagues are not always associated with Plato Little League. Please check with the summer baseball and softball coaches if you are the parent of a high school student who wishes to particiapte.
