I want to thank all who participated in our Dickerson Park Zoo trip this year…It started out with a bang of lightening and rain but the Plato folks are troopers and waited until the storm passed, then continued having a great day at the zoo!!! I heard everyone who stayed had a ROARING good time!
I would like to say I hope everyone has a great summer and we will see you next school year.

Buses will leave around 8:00 am and return to the school around 2:30 pm.
An adult must accompany your child to the zoo. Come join the fun and have lots of fun with us at the zoo….

Come have fun with us as we celebrate Abraham Lincoln and George Washington’s birthdays. Our February playgroup is going to have a birthday party for these two important presidents of our nation. It will be between 11 am- 2 pm on February 21, 2012. Cup cakes and ice cream are on the menu, also there will be lots of fun activities to do. The location is at the Roby Citizen’s Center on Hwy. 32. Come join the fun at our January 10th play group from 11am til 2pm. Our theme will be snowmen. We will have a craft to make a cute snowman. There is lots of room at the Roby Citizen Center for fun and playtime. Hope to see you there!

Parents as Teachers is a program that will support parents with developmental information to promote school readiness. Parents as Teachers is for families from pregnancy to age 5. Children will learn more the first few years at a faster pace than any other time of life. We believe that parents are their child’s most influential teachers and we will provide support by home visits, group meetings, screenings, and resource networks. Parents as Teachers is a program that helps parents understand what to expect during each stage of development and capture the teachable moments in everyday life to help their child be successful in school.
