Athletic Awards Banquet
We will be holding a banquet for athletes in the cafeteria at 6:00 p.m. on May 22.
Graduation!!!
Cap and Gown pictures will be taken on May 8 at 1 p.m. Graduation will be on May 18
in the New Gym at 7:00 p.m.
FBLA State Contest Results
The FBLA had two students place at the state convention.
Devon Razer placed 6th in Business Procedures and 9th in Cyber Security. Jalen Supancic placed 10th in Business Math.

HS Girls won 1st place with 165.6 points:
Gold Medals: Lexi McNiel in the 800 and 1600; Rebecca Baker, Emily Shrum, Shalyn Barton and Kathryn Kidd in the 4 x 200; Becca Baker, Mackenzie Morrison, Kathryn Kidd, and Shalyn Barton in the 4 x 400; Becca Baker, Jessica Wensel, Kenzie Morrison, and Shalyn Barton in the 4 x 800; Yazzmin McCain in the 300 m hurdles; and Lexi McNiel in the 3200 m.
Silver Medals: Kendra Crewse in the 400m and 800 m; Shalyn Barton in the 1600 m; and Kenzie Morrison in the 3200 m.
Bronze Medals: Sanne de Jong, Discus; Yazzmin McCain in the 100 M Hurdles.
HS Boys received 2nd place with 125 points, only 6 points away from 1st place.
Gold Medals: Ianin Mincey in the 110 Meter Hurdles and the 300 Meter Hurdles.
Silver Medals: Jon Mansker in the 400 m; Ryan Nichols in the 800 m; Keagan Adams in the 1600 m; Mason Crabtree, Ryan Nichols, Brandon Capowski, and Jon Mansker in the 4 x 400; Austin McCoy, Brandon Capowski, Keagan Adams, and Ryan Nichols in the 4 x 800, and Keagan Adams in the 3200m.
Bronze Medals: Brett Baker in the 200 m; Jon Mansker in the 800 m; Brett Baker, Drew Clark, Ryan Nichols, and Jon Mansker in the 4 x 200; and JP Beacham in the Discus.
WYSE Divisionals
Plato placed 4th place in the WYSE Divisionals, and will travel to the state WYSE competition at Missouri S & T on April 17. FFA News
Congratulations to Dalton Lane, the new Vice President for Area 13! Area 13 consists of 22 schools.
Congratulations to Heather Murry for placing 1st out of 10 for FFA Division 2 public speaking! The FFA Knowledge team also placed 5th out of 12 at area to qualify for district competition. FFA knowledge team members are: Andrew Patrick, Morgan Elliott, Nathan Gregory and Gary Parrish. Congratulations to Jessica Stone and Lee Myers for receiving their State FFA degrees!

FBLA Results
Plato FBLA finished the District level of competition for FBLA on Friday, February 17, 2012. The conference was followed by the awards ceremony. Thanks for all of the help and support you have given to us this year. We hope that we continue to have your support leading up to our State Conference in April!
Plato FBLA Chapter placed FIRST Overall in our District which includes around 15-20 schools, depending on how many compete each year. Schools range in size from St. Elizabeth and Belle up through the sizes of School of the Osage, Lebanon, Camdenton, Rolla, Cuba, and Waynesville! Please congratulate these students. They represented Plato very well. I am so proud of our students' performances and blessed with supportive
