Valentine's Carnations

It's time again! As Valentine's Day is approaching you may order carnations from any FBLA member. Carnations will be priced at 1 for $2.00 or 2 for $3.00.

Senior Class Volleyball Tournament

The Senior class will be holding a volleyball tournament on March 3, in the New Gym,
to raise money for their class.

CTA

The CTA will be hosting a variety show March 27 in the Old Gym at 6:30 p.m. All proceeds go to the
CTA Scholarship.

Yearbook Billing

Josten's recently mailed invoices to yearbook purchasers with an error.  If you received an invoice that shows one payment instead of two, all you need to do is pay half the amount and Josten's will bill you the other half.  Please remember the last day to order a yearbook with personalization is Monday, January 30, 2012.

Bus Driver

The Plato R-V School District is in need of substitute bus drivers for the 2011-12 school year.  All bus drivers must be licensed in accordance with Missouri statutes.  For more information please contact the central office at 417-458-3333.

Distinction in Performance

The Plato School District has been accredited by the Department of Elementary and Secondary of Education (DESE) with Distinction in Performance. Missouri K-12 school districts must meet at least thirteen out of fourteen performance standards, including all six MAP standards to qualify.  For more information about the selection criteria go to the DESE website.
